Xenon has developed an integrated target and drug discovery platform based on a clinically driven strategy for identifying novel drug targets. This platform includes competencies spanning the range of activities from gene discovery and validation to compound screening, medicinal chemistry and in vivo drug testing.  Xenon’s suite of capabilities is designed to optimize each stage of the drug discovery process, improving the likelihood of finding novel drugs that will treat the disease more specifically.

Using its unique clinical-based approach, Xenon has discovered 17 genes to date. While approximately 50% are “druggable” by small molecule approaches, four programs are currently in drug discovery and development.
