Xenon - Frank Holler, MBA

Frank Holler is the Chief Executive Officer of BC Advantage Funds, a Vancouver-based venture capital fund investing in emerging life science and technology companies. Mr. Holler served as Xenon's CEO from February 1999 until June 2003. Prior to joining Xenon, Mr. Holler was President & CEO and co-founder of ID Biomedical Corporation as well as founding director of Angiotech Pharmaceuticals. Mr. Holler presently serves on the board of directors of Protox Therapeutics Inc. (Chairman), Emerillon Therapeutics (Chairman), BIRC Corporation (Chairman), Xenon Pharmaceuticals, Cantest, Prime Trials, Allon Therapeutics, Providence Healthcare and Genome B.C. He was previously a Director of the British Columbia Biotechnology Association from 1992 to 1998. Prior to working in biotechnology and healthcare, Mr. Holler was an investment banker with Merrill Lynch Canada and CIBC World Markets. He holds degrees in Economics (BA) and Business Administration (MBA) from the University of British Columbia.
