Chris Ehrlich joined Xenon’s Board of Directors in January 2004. Mr. Ehrlich is a Venture Partner with InterWest Partners, a leading diversified venture capital firm. As a member of the Life Sciences team, Mr. Ehrlich is involved in investing and building new businesses around entrepreneurs with novel bio-pharmaceutical technologies. He is currently a Director of Avera and KAI and an observer on the Board of Director's of AlgoRx, MacroGenics and QuatRx. Previously, he was Director, Licensing & Business Development at Purdue Pharma, a private pharmaceutical firm based in Stamford, CT. Prior to joining Purdue, Mr. Ehrlich worked in business development at Genentech, Inc., in venture capital at The U.S. Russia Investment Fund, and in biotechnology strategy development at LEK Consulting. Mr. Ehrlich earned an MBA from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management in 1998, where he now serves as an Instructor of Biotechnology, and an A.B. cum laude, from Dartmouth College in 1992
